We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data visualization, and experience working with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection & Processing
- Gather and clean data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party datasets.
- Perform data wrangling and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use statistical techniques and predictive modeling to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
3. Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Database Management & Optimization
- Work with SQL and relational databases to retrieve, manipulate, and store data.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
5. Performance Tracking & KPI Monitoring
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business functions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
6. Automation & Process Improvement
- Develop scripts and workflows using Python, R, or SQL to automate data processing.
- Improve data collection and reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
- Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in business intelligence or financial analysis.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics.
