Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of network systems, servers, and cloud-based environments to support business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implementation: Develop, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud environments.
- System Administration: Manage and optimize on-premise and cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, firewalls, and compliance measures to protect data and infrastructure.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ensure system availability and performance using monitoring tools and proactively address issues.
- Automation & Scripting: Utilize tools like Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
- Collaboration: Work with DevOps, software developers, and IT teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Establish and maintain backup strategies and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, or system administration.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL,
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.
Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
