Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect our organization’s data, systems, and networks. You will play a critical role in threat detection, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with security best practices and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Implementation & Management: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security incidents, conduct investigations, and respond to cyber threats effectively.
Vulnerability Management: Identify security vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
Network & System Security: Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention systems.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with security regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC 2.
Penetration Testing & Security Audits: Conduct security testing, ethical hacking, and security assessments to identify weaknesses.
Cloud Security: Implement security measures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and manage IAM (Identity and Access Management).
Security Awareness Training: Educate employees on security best practices and conduct phishing simulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or network security roles.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP, etc.).
Experience with security tools like SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and DLP.
Hands-on experience in security incident response, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
Understanding of security in cloud-native applications and microservices.
Knowledge of zero-trust security models and identity management solutions.
