ResumeJob Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Security Tester to identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in our applications, networks, and systems. The ideal candidate will perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to ensure the highest level of protection against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing on web applications, APIs, networks, and cloud environments.
- Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.
- Perform static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST).
- Assess system configurations, firewalls, and network security controls.
- Develop detailed security reports with risk assessments and mitigation recommendations.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and hacking techniques.
- Automate security testing processes and implement security tools.
- Conduct security awareness training for developers and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Preferred): CEH, OSCP, CISSP, GPEN, or similar.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, and Wireshark.
- Knowledge of web security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and network security principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and a passion for cybersecurity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
