Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud computing technologies, architecture design, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met while optimizing performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture & Design
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Create scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Define best practices for cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Conduct cloud migration and modernization assessments.
2. Implementation & Deployment
- Deploy and manage IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in cloud environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Security & Compliance
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance by implementing best practices for identity management, encryption, and monitoring.
- Design and enforce security policies such as zero-trust architectures and least privilege access.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with development, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor to executives and business leaders on cloud strategy and cost optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
5. Monitoring & Optimization
- Implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite).
- Analyze cloud costs and optimize resources for better cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud performance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, system design, and deployment.
- Expertise in one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications preferred).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization in cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, big data, and edge computing solutions in the cloud.
