Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions that support our business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and deploy innovative cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management – Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services.
- Automation & Scripting – Develop automation scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to streamline cloud deployments.
- Security & Compliance – Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks to protect cloud environments.
- Monitoring & Optimization – Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for cost efficiency.
- CI/CD & DevOps – Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Networking & Storage – Configure cloud networking (VPC, Load Balancers, VPNs) and manage cloud storage solutions.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup – Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Collaboration & Documentation – Work closely with developers, architects, and IT teams while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with networking concepts, security protocols, and IAM (Identity and Access Management).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Engineer) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of big data processing tools (Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Google BigQuery).
- Understanding of AI/ML cloud services.
