Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend technologies, database management, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs.
- Design and implement robust, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.
- Optimize and enhance the performance of databases and backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud solutions.
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Keep up to date with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or .NET.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of authentication methods like JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
- Ability to write efficient, scalable, and secure code.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with serverless architectures and API gateways.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or Firebase.
- Hands-on experience with message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of caching techniques and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks for backend applications (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest).
